This dual sided book contains two excerpts, Haruki Murakami's The Birth of My Kitchen Table Fiction and Agota Kristof's The Notebook. The front and back cover of the book are composed of eight animal illustrations reflected in the text. The illustrations are interpreted as conceptual and emotional ideas that enriches the understanding in and between the texts. It also has Japanese characters that corresponds to the artworks of the animals with symbolic meaning.
